This is the first of a series of four commercials for the georgian brand called "Berta" based in the Caucasus region. Berta is a producer of cosmetic products, established in 2010.
For the launch of the brand there was a need to cover the most important aspects in a 45 seconds commercial: nature, advanced technology, and family. As there was no traditional agency involved we also signed responsible for the concept and voice over.
Directing wise we chose to do a one flow animation as this would fit the correlation in between the aspects to communicate best.
Technically, the spot is a combination of 2D and 3D animation as well as live action elements. Those live elements where overdrawn frame by frame during the postproduction process.
We hope we could help this new brand to successfully entering the competitive market of personal care and residential products. For us it was an interesting experience for sure: working for a brand that it based in different cultural environment and to address those differences in the communication.
